Visicon’s senior management team comprises of veterans from power electronics and semiconductor industries who have high tech management experience of more than 120 years.
Dr. Harshad Mehta Chief Promoter & Interim CEO and CFO
- Dr. Harshad Mehta completed his B.S. in Physics, Chemistry and Math and an M.S. in Physics from Vikram University, India, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida.
- From the year 1983 to 1994, Dr. Mehta was project Manager at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), a national recognized non-profit institution on electric power, at which he managed projects related to Advanced Power Electronics, Robotics and Sensor Technologies.
- He established Silicon Power Corp., U.S.A in April 1994 and presently is the Chairman, President and CEO of Silicon Power (an American corporation after acquiring a high-power semiconductor group and associated technology from General Electric).
- He also acquired Harris Power Devices Group in 1998 and in May 2019 a SiC fab from Microchip; that later resulted in the formation of SiCamore Semi.
- His Accomplishments include recipient of 2014 IEEE PES Nari Hingorani Custom Power Award and recipient R&D 100 award from R&D Magazine. He has several patents registered in his name.
Mr. Sunil Kaul Senior Advisor
- Mr. Sunil Kaul completed his B.E. from Punjabi University and M.S. from University of California, Davis, both in Mechanical Engineering.
- Highly experienced, hands-on C-Level executive and venture partner with experience in both start-up and large corporate environments including semiconductor and system companies.
- Sunil successfully led technology businesses from greenfield stage to multi-million dollars in revenue, including several years of operating experience in developing and growing business in emerging markets such as India, Africa, Philippines and the Middle East.
- Extensive experience in product development, semiconductor packaging, manufacturing operations, strategic marketing, technology licensing and business development.
Mr. Marc Papageorge Operations
- Mr. Papageorge completed his B.S. from the Georgia Institute of Technology and M.S. from University of Florida, both in Material Science & Engineering
- Mr. Marc Papageorge is a highly experienced hands-on entrepreneur & investor with a demonstrated 30-year history of working with start-ups and large corporate environments in advanced materials, semiconductors, sensors, consumer, and system companies
- Extensive experience managing variety of organizations, that includes product development, manufacturing operations, and sales & marketing, during his tenure at Motorola Inc., ASAT Ltd., AIT Inc., Spec Sensors Inc, & Icintek LLC. Papageorge has extensive corporate and consulting experience in establishing and growing new businesses globally. He has lived in Asia, Europe, and successfully led technology businesses from greenfield stage to multi-million dollars in revenue.
- Papageorge has over 30+ patents, publications and engineering awards.
Mr. Perry Schugart Business Development
- Mr. Perry Schugart has completed his B.S. in Physics from University of California, Santa Barbara.
- He has over three decades of delivering advanced technologies and solutions to meet business, market and customer needs and has held several leadership positions with organizations including ABB Switzerland and AMSC where he focused on Marketing and R&D.
- While at ABB he was Division Leader for Lean R&D best practices team (ABB’s World Class Operations).
- He is the creator of the Agnesium Marketing Protocol and Founder of Agnesium Marketing
- Mr. Schugart has several publications and patents undedr his name.
Mr. Raj Pai Applications Development
- Mr. Raj Pai completed his B.E. from IISc Bangalore and MTech from IIT Madras, both in Electrical Engineering.
- For over 40 years he has held technical leadership and management positions in companies such as Tata Electric, Kollmorgen, Data Device Corp, Rockwell, Parker Hannifin and Halliburton.
- Raj is a seasoned power electronics expert in energy conversion from basic power devices to motion controllers and pulsed power systems He has more than 15 years of experience in high temperature (175° C) electronics.
- Raj has several publications and patents under his name.
